NAIFC 2008 championship album is ready

We got information from our friend Remek (www.photomaker.pl) that NAIFC 2008 Championship album came out and we can order it from Internet bookstore called Blurb. Album consists of four chapters – prefishing, meeting, first and second day of tournament and includes above 150 photos.

Soon we are going to post more photos and some info about 2008 NAIFC CHAMPIONSHIP. Tournament was really great even we were not on the top. We had an opportunity to learn from the best. Maybe next championship will be better for us (BTW: where are our F#@%ing Rings!!).

Fishmaniacs portfolio is ready

Today morning we got new Fishmaniacs portfolio. Now it is ready for downloading and watching. Hope you enjoy it. Currently it consists of two pages but we are going to increase it with new photos and information about our Team. Hope this year will be fruitfull for us and we implement our objectives.

The cover photo was taken during our trip to Lake Vermilion. It was first day I remember. We were looking obviously for musky. This day was hard. We saw many of them but did not manage to catch any. Photos were taken by Remek from Photomaker.pl. He prepeared our prtfolio as well.

“The Ice Men series is reality based television program. Reality based in the NAIFC context means that the Ice Men program (while educating the audience on ice fishing) will follow the progress of 5-6 highlighted teams throughout the 2009 NAIFC ice season. Those higlighted teams will be introduced to television audience through a combination of backgroud information, daily activities, comments and the personalities of the teammates. As the characteristics of each team unfold the audience will form a bond and develop a following for the team of their choosing.

Those 5-6 highlighted teams will get a great deal more air time than other teams. With the increased amount of exposure the highlighted teams will receive the potential to become nationally/worldwide knows in tremendous.”

In 2005 we joined our knowledge and experience making the first Professional Polish Fishing Team in the USA. We participated in one of the most prestigious and important fishing tournaments in the USA called Trap Attack. Throughout the many tournaments we experienced many difficult times, however we learned from each tournament, and were able to have a good showing in the end of the tournament. Our biggest success was taking First Place at Silver Lake in the NAIFC Tournament Series. In the last three years we have placed in the top ten of the NAIFC Tournaments. As a team we are well experienced and highly skilled and are very grateful to be participating in ICE MAN. Through teamwork we work hard to ensure our success. We will also use the most modern equipment and techniques. Our goal is to sharpen our skills and techniques to be the best that we can be and to win the NAIFC Championship and the F#@%ing Ring.

Jacek Gawlinski (Jacky) – my life is fishing. My passion is fishing. I first started fishing when I was 6 years old in Poland. I learned how to river fish and trout fish. Here in the USA, I have gained a wealth of good experience. I personally feel that growing in every part of my life is important and that is why family, friends, and fishing are all very important to me. I spend a lot of time fishing, and I am constantly looking for new fishing technology. As an editor of a Polish/American Fishing Magazine called ?Zew Natury? I write about great new fishing technologies from the USA and from Poland. At the moment, I represent Poland while competing in the NAIFC Tournaments. My biggest success in fishing is winning First Place at the tournament at Silver Lake in New York. To obtain this success I worked diligently with my teammate Zbyszek. With his help, my love of fishing has come to a different level. Every time I think about organizing and planning fishing trips, I get very excited, because I love fishing so much. In the future I would like to be a Professional Fisherman and a Guide.

Zbyszek Wojcik (Zibi) - fishing has been my passion for over 31 years. The countless hours I have spent fishing on river has helped to increase my experience and skills. This is why I try to spend as much time by the river as possible. Fishing for me is not only rewarding, but it is very relaxing. I have learned many different techniques for fishing, however my favorite is ice fishing. When Jacek and I were partners in the 2008 NAIFC I was responsible to locate the best spot to find the biggest fish for our success. For me this was a very good experience that I will definitely use in the future. Fishing is my passion and when fishing under Catch and Release rules, I am grateful for every fish I catch, no matter what the size.
